The scenography of the exhibition "The Hideaways of the Light" is bathed in the pink linens of the installation "Tail of the Draft" by artist Sije Verski (Holland), a guest of the Užupis Art Trail. S. Verski’s style is sarcastic as the title of his exhibition in English also has a second meaning - "The tail of the sketch".

The artist Jaroslaw Koziara has already become a good friend of the Glass Quarter - vilnius residents and guests of the city still remember his wonderful installations of hot air balloons and stars on Stikliai Street. He himself speaks this way about his work: "For 25 years now I have been experimenting with light behind the material, looking for various solutions. I draw inspiration from nature, geometry and art. The hop cone resembles the shape of a lantern. I love freedom and humor, so I used various surreal colors in the installation, uncharacteristic of natural hops."

Illuminated hand symbols in the shape of hearts with greetings that are closely connected to the identity of Savičiaus st.‘‘I am waiting for you“, ‘‘I share with you“ ‚‘‘I take care of you“ ‚‘‘ I wish you good luck“ ‚‘‘ I congratulate you“ and ‘‘I pray for you“. Such were the greetings that the artist decided to include. They symbolize today‘s Savičiaus street, as it also has some elements that seem to be opposite but close to each other at the same time: hospitality, fun, prayer, music, and peace.

If you walk around the city and not only notice the street art – graffiti or neo-frescoes – but also stop to look at it more closely, or try to find an encrypted message or idea, then this is the route for you. 

When we tell others about Vilnius or just think about it ourselves, it’s probably unlikely that we call it the Mecca of street art. But, let’s face it, that doesn’t mean that the capital doesn’t have wonderful examples of street art.

The MO Sculpture Garden is the permanent open-air exhibition of the MO Museum. It features works by Vladas Urbanavičius, Mindaugas Navakas, Petras Mazūras, Ksenia Jaroševaitė and Donatas Jankauskas-Duonis.

"Literatų Street" was the first project of the Museum of Contemporary Art to revitalise Literatų Street and to link it more firmly to the authors who have lived and created in Vilnius, as well as to the foreign writers who have been connected to Vilnius in one way or another. The street is decorated with more than 200 ceramic, metal and plastic plates and various readymades commemorating the particular writers. Installed in the walls of Literatų Street, they continuously attract attention of Vilnius residents and visitors.
